Request a Project

The purpose of the CCEMGVA is to operate as a nonprofit educational and support organization to promote research-based, sound gardening and horticulture practices in conjunction with the Cherokee County, North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service for the citizens of Cherokee County.

Project Request

The Master Gardener Volunteers of Cherokee County (CCEMGVA) are happy to consider partnership gardening projects with Non-Profit Groups or Government Entities.

REQUIREMENTS (please read):

  • A CCEMGVA Member(s) must agree to assume Chairmanship of Project. If you know a Cherokee County Master Gardener, talk to them about your project, first.
  • The requesting group must be able to provide ongoing maintenance of the completed project. CCEMGVA will provide training for your workers. CCEMGVA does not provide Maintenance for any project after initial installation has been completed, unless approved by the CCEMGVA Board of Directors.
  • All Project Requests must be approved by majority vote of CCMGVA members at a General Membership Meeting prior to any work commitment.

If your project meets these requirements, please fill out the form to the right and we will be in contact with you to discuss your project, and help you fill out the necessary paperwork to get started.*
